I grew up in Singapore and spent my childhood being the kid everyone consulted on how to spell.
I went on to get a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford and an MA in Comparative Literature from University College London.
My Korean and British background informs much of my work. I love books, films, music, comedy, and anything that involves the intersection of media, culture, and communities – especially across borders.
My writing has been published in the Oxford Review of Books, The Oxford Student, the Hanok Review, and more.
I’ve edited for publications like The Isis magazine, the Broad Street Humanities Review, and worked as an intern at Ethos Books, an independent publishing house in Singapore. I have also taken on one-off projects with different clients as a freelance editor.
